manual 2 There's a sample map and a layer that you can use for testing purposes. Of course, later you can choose between the maps you've created in the GIS Cloud Mobile Data Collection Portal or Map Editor and the maps someone has shared with you.
manual 3 You can collect and edit points, lines and polygons.
Collecting Points Collecting Points
manual 4 If you select a point project or layer in the settings, you'll be collecting points.
manual 5 To collect point data simply go to the Form, enter the required data and tap Send. The location can be determined automatically using GPS or manually with the Pinpoint tool.
Collecting Lines & Polygons Collecting Lines & Polygons
manual 6 If you've selected a line or polygon project or layer, you'll be able to choose between the GPS location mode which will provide tracking of your movement using your device positioning system, or the Manual mode with which you can draw lines or polygons on the map. You can combine both modes if that suits your purpose.
manual 7 The Map view will provide Controls for line and poly collection which you can toggle using the Controls button below the map.
manual 8 Once you're happy with the line or polygon you've collected, return to the Form view and click Send to complete collection. The polygons will be automatically closed.
